Day 31- Goodbye 2017

It was a mixed bag of a year; some not so great things happened in 2017, but thankfully I feel they were outweighed by the wonderful things that did happen this year.

Amy-lou and Scott welcomed little Oliver into the world and he is just so adorable and squishy. Eleanor has grown up to be a wonderful, polite big sister who is just so fun to be around and I am so blessed to be their friend.

I went to Venice with Rich, for the most amazing holiday. We had the best time, just away from it all experiencing the beauty of Murano and Venice ❤ We probably won’t be going away this year as we are hoping to save money through 2018 to be able to move in together in 2019!

We had Leanne’s Hen weekend, which was full of laughs and cocktails. It was really nice to have a weekend where we all got to be together and even make new friends with the Girls she went to Uni with.
And on the 1st September Leanne and John became Mr and Mrs Adams 🙂 ❤ It was the most beautiful day, the sun was shinning and there were smiles all around as we all celebrated the day. It was truly an amazing day and it was such an honour to be a part of it all ❤ Love you guys!

Kirstles and Adam started booking things for their wedding and are getting things sorted for that. Kirst and I keep working every day, making each other laugh even in the times when it can get a bit stressful.

And finally, Rich and I spent our first Christmas together 🙂 It was really lovely and we are looking forward to many more together.

There are so many other little things that have happened and people that have made my 2017 a good one and although I won’t list them all off they know who they are, and I am hoping they will stick around for 2018!

This time last year I set myself the challenge of posting a photo everyday (Apart from the 11th March) for the whole year to document my 2017, and today on December 31st I can say that I have done it. Admittedly they weren’t always posted on the right day but there is a photo on this blog for every day in 2017 and I am so glad I did it. I haven’t decided where 2018 will take me with my blog or if I will continue to post a photo every day but I am looking forward to the things that this new year will have to bring!

Happy New Year!
